Summer FabFitFun Box!!

Hello everyone! I’ve been gone for a while and I’ve sure missed blogging! We had to move a little earlier than expected so we managed to make it work and now I’m blogging to you from my beautiful new home! I have so much to share with you! BUT first things first! Before we moved I received my second box from FabFitFun. This is the Summer box! I’ll actually be able to review some of these products now because I’ve been using them for two weeks! So let’s dive in!

The box is SO SO cute and I have to say…I LOVE how everything is not falling apart and all over the place when you open it. It’s truly a big deal to me. It’s all beautifully placed.

Before I unwrap there is a sample on top of Collagen Protein! Bonus!

Ta dahhh…Hello Summer! There is always a gorgeous magazine included that tells you everything about the products in the box and ways to use them!

So here’s what I got in my box!

BKR Little 500ML Glass Water Bottle in Romeo (blue). Retails for $35

How cool is that? A glass water bottle! I’ve been working out so I drop a sprig or two of my chocolate mint and lavender into this guy and take off with it! Getting away from plastic is always a good idea and it keeps my water so cold!

Michael Stars Ruana in Blue. Retails for $54

Ok so…I saw the spoiler for this and thought,I really don’t need another scarf…and it’s hot here in Summer…I would NEVER wear that! I was WRONG. There were three colors but they chose the blue for me! That is exactly what I would have wanted and I fell in love. I adore when subscription boxes send you stuff that you never even knew you needed. You can wear this guy so many ways but my fav has been as a ruffled scarf!

Cargo_HD Picture Perfect Highlighter in Bronze. Retails for $30

I am sort of familiar with the brand but hearing “bronze” when you a pale girl doesn’t make your heart twinkle. This bronze though would work on a lot of skin tones!

Juice Beauty Smoothing Eye Concentrate. Retails for $29

I’ve been using this EVERY night because I’ve been exhausted during this move. This concentrate is magical. It feels so great on my eyes and really hydrates that area in way nothing I’ve tried before has. Great brand!

Kris Nations Mystic Bar Necklace in Peach Moonstone. Retails for $58

Of the three stones available they chose the Peach Moonstone for me and it was PERFECT. These necklaces are handmade in India,are gorgeous and come in the cutest packaging! I wore mine when we were out hunting for places to move into. It just made me feel better. I like jewelry that has good intentions behind it 🙂

Eau Thermale Avè Ultra-Light Hydrating Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+. Retails for $24

A matte sunscreen! So exciting! Also I did really need something made more for my face. Sometimes foundations with SPF are blotchy on me and I don’t want to just spray the regular kind onto my face. This one works awesome mixed into foundation! Skin Cancer runs in my family so prevention is key!

Way Of Will 03 Soothe And Cool Massage Oil. Retails for $29.50

This was a “choice” item.  With a yearly membership you get monthly choices where you get to pick what is in your box. This was the first of two different choices provided this month. You could pick between this oil or a Klorane dry shampoo. If you’re like me and you pay per month though…then they chose for you. And they make great choices! I def wanted the oil. This month has been stressful and moving takes a toll on the body! Me and my boyfriend both have benefited well from this. Let me tell you….it smells like heaven. It’s amazing for massages and dry skin. Also if I feel a headache coming on or tension then I rub some on my pressure points and I’m good to go!

Ready,Set,Create Art Kit. Retails for $22

Yea they know me 🙂 This was the second “choice” item for the Summer box. If you were an annual member then you could pick between this,an On The Road Again Travel Set or a Himalayan Pink Salt Kit. Not gonna lie…the salt kit would have been cool too! But I really like this art set because I want to create a few pieces for our new coffee nook that’s in the dining room! This has everything I will need to make a cool piece for it!

And lastly….a bonus item included was a sample of Vital Proteins Marine Collagen in powder form. I wasn’t really sure what that meant but this card and my handy magazine informed me! Seems Collagen is very important to bodies. It promotes healthy hair,skin and nails and can even help you sleep! This powder has no flavor and can be added to any drink! I used mine the first day I got the box in my BKR…yes while wearing my Ruana and Mystic Bar Necklace 🙂 I hope to pick up more and use it in the future on a daily basis!

I had no idea!

So that was the Summer box! I liked it a lot more than I thought I was going to! That may sound a bit off but sometimes the internet can really ruin stuff,if you let it. I kept seeing so many people hate on the Ruana and the art set to the point where I think I was mentally rejecting them as well w/o really giving it much thought. For the next box I think I’ll stay away from all things social and just be 00% surprised when I get it!

My cat,Luxin,and I do these unboxings together. She has a blast with the shredded paper and then loves to lay in the box once it’s empty 🙂

About a week after getting my box the clasp on my necklace broke and I lost it. I was super sad but contacted customer service about it. The clasp had been a little faulty to begin with but I thought I had fixed it. They responded and said that they would happily send me a replacement with tracking! Best customer service EVER! I am a fan for life 🙂

Thoughts so far on FabFitFun,after two boxes:

• Many items I have received are used daily now and before this box I didn’t even know they existed. That is what I love about great quality subscription boxes. they know what’s best for me!
• I love how well they curate these boxes. They really take my likes into consideration.
• I love that the items are full-sized. I hated getting deluxe samples of something and falling in love with it only to go to the store and get sticker shock.
• It’s like an amazing gift I am giving to myself. Beautiful packaging,nicely wrapped.
• It’s not monthly so you don’t get a build up of products. I remember with Ipsy,although I loved it,I would have so many sample sized mascaras. Almost every month I got another one or another liner.
• I love the variety included…that it’s not just makeup or hair products.
• 246.50 was the total price of my items this month! All that for $49.99 is a steal!
